This circuit touches the upper reaches of the Himalayas which were highly inaccessible and untouched places till very recently. The Spiti Valley and Sangla retain their character of being mystical cities caught up in the warps of time. The charm and rustic ambience they exude is indescribable but absolutely out of this world and an experience to cherish and remember.

Rushing rivers, cold deserts, rough and ready roads with hairpin curves and green valleys, surrounded by towering peaks make travel in these parts an adventure in itself. Chandra tal is a lake surrounded by many high peaks above 20,000 ft from sea level  also only accessible for 4 months in summer between  two passes Rohtang pass 13 050 ft and Kunzom Pass 15,000 ft  very unique one of its king birth place of river Chandra which flows to Pakistan.   This is also accessible through spiti region Tibetan border land Also it is believed that the angles use to  come and perform dances around the lake.
